ALUMINUM2019-01-26T19:20:36+00:00

Aluminium is a particularly light metal, of modest cost, ductile and malleable, is positively characterized by resistance to corrosion. For this reason, it is used in the mechanical, aerounatics and car industrym for the manufacture of parts of airplane, train carriages and motor vehicles.

The high thermal conductivity makes aluminium a suitable material for the manufacture of cooking utensils, and allows their use in internal combustion engines. Characterized by a good electrical conductivity, it is often used in the transmission of high voltages in long distances, in place of copper.

Aluminium conductor, extremely light, are used nowadays to trasmit voltages of over 700.000 volts. Aluminium is becoming increasingly important for industrial purposes as much as ornamental ones.
